✿ QUINN’S STORY:

Quinn, born on December 04, 2010 was diagnosed with B-Lineage Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at age 2. She has had 2 early relapses since.

Her cancer has become resistant to chemotherapy and presence of Philadelphian Chromosome is suspected to be the cause yet to be confirmed in her Bone Marrow Karyotyping. Quinn will need help funding more heavy chemotherapy and preparation for transplant. Apart from the almost impossible cost, the technology of transplant here in the Philippines isn't very well developed in our home country and we are hoping Quinn can get access to better treatment for a better chance of surviving this battle in the U.S. if possible. Karyotyping is also limited here and can only identify her cancer's make-up if it falls within a common category.

Quinn's current condition: Since Quinn has had two relapses; her chances of cure are now down to 10-20% with continued chemotherapy vs. a 60% chance of cure with a Stem Cell Transplant. 62% of her cancer has spread on her Bone Marrow.

Quinn has started on a clinical trial protocol, MSK, to achieve remission in preparation for Stem Cell Transplant.

"Henry's Medical Update as of Nov. 13, 2014, as of 9 pm. from our elder sister, Lina. At PGH, he was transferred from private room to ICU due to lung complications. Nagkaroon po ng infection ang baga niya-- may pneumonia. His neuro-surgeon, Dr. Eric Legaspi on the other hand, said he does not need anymore surgery dahil ang blood clot (63 cc) ay kusang natutunaw---will take bet 1 to 2 months para matunaw. No other major problem seen in the new ct scan. Praise God for this great news. Ang urgent concern now is yung lungs niya. Nilagyan siya ng tubo at may machine na tumutulong sa paghinga niya. So, we stil need all your prayers for his strength and recovery. Thank you and may God bless you all" - UPDATE from Henry's sister
