Vote for Freedom Island at the Wetlands Awards



In our continued advocacy of protecting Freedom and Long islands and defending them from threats of reclamation, EARTH ISLAND INSTITUTE PHILIPPINES and the SAVE FREEDOM ISLAND MOVEMENT invite you to vote for the Las Pinas - Paranaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area (LLPCHEA) in the World Wetlands Network Globe Awards.

REMINDER: February 1, 2015 is the deadline for voting.

Here are FIVE easy steps to vote for LLPCHEA in less than FIVE minutes:

1. Register at www.worldwetnet.org/registration
2. Select VOTE FOR A WETLAND www.worldwetnet.org/wetland-globes/vote-for-a-wetland
3. Select PHILIPPINES and click SEARCH
4. Find the dot on the map for the "Las Pinas - Paranaque Critical Habitat"
5. VOTE and put a check on the "GREY GLOBE AWARD" (wetlands-at-risk), you can also (optional) add your reason for voting.

And after that, share this to your friends and ask them to do the same. And please check the Facebook Event Page for updates.

We are campaigning to raise awareness about the LLPCHEA and Manila Bay and the need to protect them and defend them against threats of reclamation projects.
